Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 40 pounds
- Manual dexterity and ability to handle kitchen tools safely
- Auditory and visual capability to follow instructions
- Willingness to work 40 hours per week
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Availability to work in Tulsa, OK
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients
Job Duties
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
- Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures by regulating kitchen equipment
- Monitor freshness of food ingredients, rotate stock, and follow labeling and dating procedures
- Cook and prepare foods using various methods including baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Prepare fruits, vegetables, meats, and seafood for service
- Maintain records of food usage and assist with inventory control
- Prepare and serve food to customers promptly
- Communicate with supervisor regarding kitchen equipment and supply needs
- Adhere to company standards for safety, food handling, sanitation, uniform, and productivity
- Provide excellent customer service including greeting and thanking customers
- Perform additional duties as assigned
