Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in event management or related field
  • Two or more years of experience in event or congress management preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn Cvent event management software
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Effective communication abilities both written and verbal
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate with cross functional teams in Central Time Zone

Job Qualifications

  • Two or more years of event or congress management experience preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Experience with Cvent event management software preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Job Duties

  • Manage up to 80 Tier 4 local and regional congresses including processing applications registrations and sponsorship payments
  • Order booth assets ensuring alignment with brand needs and maintaining inventory of display materials such as tabletops tablecloths invitations literature racks and banners
  • Coordinate with clinical and logistics teams on sample orders shipping logistics and necessary approvals
  • Request and manage onsite booth staff including name submission for badges
  • Provide meeting communication to stakeholders detailing agenda location attendee list exhibit setup and dismantle times and shipment tracking
  • Offer support and troubleshooting while teams are onsite
  • Facilitate sponsorship agreements including processing Letters of Agreement updating budgets in Cvent and reconciling event closeout procedures
