Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- minimum 3 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle, 1 year preferred
- valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency
- minimum 21 years of age
- ability to work a flexible schedule including regular weekends, nights, and/or early mornings and varied hours
- physical ability to move furniture indoors, outdoors, up or down stairs and in all weather conditions, able to lift 100+ pounds with a partner
- ability to comply with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration regulations including reading and speaking English sufficiently, maintaining a DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate, passing physical and drug screening, passing road test, and having acceptable MVR per CORT’s safe driving standards

- ability to comply with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration regulations including reading and speaking English sufficiently to converse and understand highway signs
- ability to maintain a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate including passing physical and drug screenings
- ability to successfully pass a road test based on FMCSA and CORT requirements
- acceptable Motor Vehicle Record per CORT’s safe driving standards
Job Duties
- Loading trucks by inspecting furniture and ensuring proper and safe loading order
- planning and communicating operations through pre-delivery meetings and ongoing coordination
- conducting pre- and post-trip truck inspections and maintenance
- completing required documentation and accurately maintaining electronic logs
- safely driving box trucks or sprinter vans on delivery routes
- delivering, assembling, and installing furniture according to client instructions and event floor plans
- picking up furniture while inspecting for damage and ensuring no product is left behind at venues
- providing onsite customer service and resolving client issues professionally
- supervising temporary associates for loading, unloading, delivery, and pickup tasks
- performing warehouse duties including loading/unloading, organizing, unboxing, and cleaning products
- performing other duties as assigned
