- able to read, write, and speak English
- live in the local area or within commuting distance

Job Qualifications
- three years of a la carte service or fine dining experience
- good working knowledge of hot cooking fundamentals including broiling, frying, sautéing, and grilling
- knowledge of sanitation standards
- experience operating kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, and kettles
- basic math skills related to recipes and portion control
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work independently
- excellent people skills
- ability to meet grooming and work standards in a professional kitchen
- flexibility to work varied shifts
Job Duties
- preparing all foods according to standard recipes to ensure product consistency
- visually inspecting, selecting, and using food items of the highest quality
- checking and controlling proper storage of products and portion control, especially high-cost meat items
- maintaining clean refrigeration, storage, and working areas to comply with health regulations
- ensuring all kitchen equipment is clean and functioning properly
- preparing requisitions for supplies and food items
- employing math skills to prepare items according to recipes
- standing for long periods and lifting/moving products up to 60 lbs
- demonstrating good knowledge of hot cooking methods such as broiling, frying, sautéing, and grilling
- maintaining sanitation standards
- operating kitchen equipment like stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, and kettles
- understanding basic math related to recipes, measurements, and portion sizes
- reading and writing English to complete requisitions and communicate with staff
- using manual dexterity to operate kitchen tools
- lifting up to 50 lbs, moving or pushing goods up to 100 lbs on carts
- working continuously in confined spaces and extreme temperatures
- adhering to grooming standards
- maintaining a substance-free work environment with mandatory testing
- meeting or exceeding customer and team expectations
- showing an energetic personality
- being willing to work various day, night, and weekend shifts
