Job Duties
- Deliver outstanding customer service by communicating clearly and listening actively
- greet customers warmly upon entry
- assist customers through the transaction process using the cashier script
- educate customers about loyalty programs, RK Visa, and RK Plus Protection Plan
- manage cash, returns, layaway, and exchanges precisely following company policy
- maintain professional and friendly communication with associates and customers
- provide product information and respond to basic customer inquiries
- coordinate with loaders to assist customers promptly
- handle price disputes professionally
- remain visible and available when not engaged in a transaction
- promote the Rural King loyalty program and its benefits
- use cashier scripts to engage customers
- introduce Rural King Visa card advantages
- answer register calls with professional phone etiquette
- reconcile registers and file paperwork with 100% accuracy
- deactivate EAS devices and manage shrink prevention
- keep the store environment tidy by restocking and cleaning
- use office equipment effectively
- participate in cross-training and continuous learning
- provide proactive and professional internal and external support
- uphold Rural King's values including people first, integrity, and teamwork
- perform additional duties as assigned
