Job Requirements
- Prefer one year's experience in cake decorating
- Ability to work at a fast pace, but efficient and controlled manner
- Ability to perform all physical aspects of the position, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs and push and pull up to 100 lbs
- Ability to work within a freezer for up to 15 minutes
- Must possess technical skills to perform basic math
- Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude
- Must be flexible to work various hours/shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Must maintain a current food safety certification
- Ability to function as a team member and get along with others

- One year of experience in cake decorating
- Current food safety certification
- Ability to perform decorating tasks efficiently
- Strong guest service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately
Job Duties
- Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests entering the area or department
- Maintain a positive atmosphere, spirit, and morale within the department
- Support and execute division concepts and programs
- Ensure quality and consistent product availability and solutions to guests
- Perform duties following bakery food safety procedures and sanitation schedule
- Perform all decorating tasks
- Help with developing team members using available materials and systems
- Safeguard, control, and monitor all bakery department assets
- Practice safe work habits
- maintain a high level of store cleanliness and organization
- Ensure recipes and procedures are followed using approved ingredients
- Maintain quality, skills, and productivity
- Utilize department systems and processes correctly and consistently
- Complete special orders and wedding cakes according to policy
- Assist in break-out and dishwashing as needed
- Perform other duties assigned by management
