Red Lobster is a renowned family-owned restaurant chain with a rich history spanning over fifty years, specializing in seafood and coastal cuisine. With a presence of more than 500 restaurants nationwide, Red Lobster has built a reputation for serving high-quality meals that bring people together and create cherished moments. The company prides itself on being more than just a restaurant; it is a community hub where new friends become familiar faces and every dining experience is a celebration of flavor and hospitality. Red Lobster is dedicated to maintaining its founding passion by offering guests a warm, welcoming environment and exceptional service.

The Busser/Runner role at Red Lobster is an integral position within the restaurant team, designed to support the smooth operation of the dining experience. This position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate different lifestyles and provides competitive wages along with weekly pay, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals seeking stable and rewarding employment in the hospitality industry. Red Lobster also invests in its employees by offering extensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage at an affordable rate, life insurance, short-term disability, and various voluntary benefits. After one year of service, employees become eligible for the 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company match, promoting long-term financial health. Additionally, anniversary pay rewards continued commitment, and discounted shift meals plus a 25% discount when dining as a guest make working here even more enjoyable.

As a Busser/Runner, you will be the first friendly face welcoming guests into the restaurant, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. Your responsibilities include setting up your station for each shift, preparing tables with silverware and condiments, and assisting by refilling drinks and clearing tables. You will be instrumental in running hot food to guests as it becomes ready and providing essential support to servers, helping to maintain a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. This role is critical to upholding food safety and cleanliness standards, clearing and resetting tables quickly, cleaning seats and floors, and ensuring clear communication regarding table readiness with your team. You will also contribute to operational efficiency through breaking down items in the dish area at the end of shifts.

Success in this position requires physical endurance including the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds, as well as staying on your feet for shifts lasting 8 to 12 hours. Being a team player who pays close attention to detail and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously is essential in delivering excellent service to Red Lobster guests. The company fosters an inclusive workplace and offers reasonable accommodations to ensure all employees can perform their duties effectively.

Red Lobster is currently experiencing exciting growth and change, with big plans on the horizon. Joining the Red Lobster family now means becoming part of a dynamic and valued team committed to quality, community, and career advancement. With extensive training and promotional opportunities available, employees can grow their skills and advance their careers within the organization. As an equal opportunity employer, Red Lobster commits to nurturing a diverse and welcoming workplace free from discrimination based on age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status.
