Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- 21 years of age or older
- possession or ability to possess all required state work permits, including ABC Server Permit
- ability to stand and move for the duration of shifts
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds
- ability to work in indoor and/or outdoor environments with varying temperatures and noise levels
- availability for varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to handle exposure to nightlife environmental factors such as second-hand smoke, noise, strobe lights, and stress
- maintain professional and neat appearance
- ability to communicate effectively
- adherence to company policies and procedures
- willingness to report incidents and maintain safety compliance
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- knowledge of basic bar and restaurant operations
- knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine brand names
- familiarity with drink recipes, garnish, cutting, and presentation
- possession of or ability to obtain state-required work cards including ABC Server Permit
- professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance
- effective communication skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- knowledge of inventory management and stock rotation
- ability to follow safety and health procedures
Job Duties
- Prepare all syrups, mixes, and garnishes
- ensure opening, running, and closing duties are completed
- maintain opening/closing liquor, beer, wine, and consumables par and report shortages or breakages
- ensure proper rotation of all liquor, beer, wine, and consumable items
- assist with loading/unloading equipment, boxes, food, and beverage products
- keep bar top and back bar clean and organized throughout the shift
- polish and wash glassware
- clean spills and waste promptly
- sweep and mop as needed
- place trash in proper receptacles
- circulate through work area to maintain atmosphere control
- provide professional and friendly guest service
- respond to guest inquiries and requests courteously
- monitor potentially intoxicated or disruptive guests and report to management
- comply with all safety, health, and liquor laws
- adhere to company standard operating procedures
- report theft, vandalism, violations, and guest incidents
- perform other related duties as assigned
