Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in high-volume food and beverage environments
  • at least 3 years in a supervisory role
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • experience preparing banquet style events
  • knowledge of state liquor laws or a state Alcohol Awareness certificate
  • strong budgetary, projection, and cost control skills
  • excellent organizational and time management abilities

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to bar operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • work with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute events including beverage preparation, service, and cleanup
  • assist with bartending when needed
  • estimate beverage consumption and make appropriate purchases from the specified bar program
  • schedule staff efficiently for shifts based on business volume
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain a skilled bar staff
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • manage bar equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with Department of Health regulations
