Job Requirements
- must be 21 years of age or older at time of application
- must be able to obtain Gaming Employee Registration in the State of Nevada
- must be able to obtain Alcohol Awareness Certification
- ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks
- excellent interpersonal skills
- attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in bar or food and beverage service preferred
- ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment
- strong customer service and communication skills
- knowledge of alcohol laws and regulations
- ability to observe guest behavior and handle difficult situations calmly
- basic inventory management skills
Job Duties
- stock bars stations and coolers with liquor beer CO2 and other beverage tanks ice glassware dishes and supplies
- maintain cleanliness and order of bar and lounge areas by cleaning resetting bars emptying ashtrays and stocking supplies such as napkins and straws
- wash all glasses utensils and preparation serving items according to sanitation and safety guidelines using commercial dishwasher
- maintain adequate liquor inventory by receiving counting storing and recording alcohol deliveries
- observe guest behavior to identify intoxication and take appropriate remedial actions such as notifying security cutting off service or ordering alternate transportation
- respond to guest questions about casino gaming promotions special events and programs using Quick Reference Guide
- provide courteous information to public inquiries within area of assignment
