Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 1 moving violation and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years
- no drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years
- must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in automotive detailing or car washing preferred
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- knowledge of vehicle cleaning techniques and products
- strong attention to detail
- ability to follow safety and cleanliness protocols
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- basic mechanical aptitude for inspecting vehicles
- reliable and punctual
- ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
- wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior including cars, vans, and trucks
- check fuel level and warning lights
- inspect windshield for damage
- factory reset and restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
- check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found
- verify registration is present, current, and matches license plate
- check fluid levels and add as needed
- check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
- inspect vehicle exterior for damage
- fuel and stage vehicle
- inspect vehicle for safety concerns and report any warning lights, vehicle, windshield, or tire damage
- maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe conditions
- operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
- assist customers when needed, including transportation to and from branches
- maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations
- perform site appearance responsibilities such as cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other cleanliness-related tasks
- seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
- maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
- perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
