Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid unrestricted US driver’s license
- Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Living within a reasonable commute of no more than one hour from the Brookfield, CT location
- At least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in automotive detailing or similar role preferred but not required
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle with a valid unrestricted US driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform demanding cleaning and vehicle maintenance tasks
Job Duties
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
- Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior including cars, trucks and vans
- Check fuel level and warning lights, inspect windshield for damage, factory reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data, check for customer items and verify vehicle registration
- Check fluid levels and add as needed, inspect tire condition, pressure and tread depth, inspect vehicle exterior for damage
- Fuel and stage vehicle
- Inspect vehicle for safety concerns, report any issues and remove vehicle from prep processing if necessary
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
- Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
- Assist customers when needed, including transporting customers to and from branches
- Help maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations
