Job Duties
- Assist the General Manager with day-to-day operations
- monitor operational and financial performance and initiate corrective actions
- ensure compliance with safety requirements including security checkpoints
- set a positive example for customer service
- maintain a positive work environment and strong employee relations
- solicit customer feedback for service improvement
- demonstrate calmness during high-volume or irregular operations
- provide coaching and direction to the station team
- manage station budget, staffing forecasts and resource requirements
- maintain station facilities and professional appearance standards
- ensure compliance with station controls and internal audit standards
- maintain relationships with airport authorities, vendors, and government entities
- manage vendor service contracts
- provide remote support for other UGE functions as needed
- work flexible hours including beyond scheduled times for operational needs
