Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand English
  • Ability to perform duties in variable weather and environmental conditions including exposure to jet engine fumes, vehicle emissions, dust, and noise
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to judge distances
  • Must join the Transport Workers Union and pay union dues as the job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand English
  • Previous experience in cleaning services role preferred
  • Previous experience in aviation industry preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare aircraft cabins for departure by loading and stocking items such as rugs, linens, blankets, and other necessary supplies
  • Clean and organize aircraft interiors using hand tools and powered cleaning equipment such as vacuums and scrubbers
  • Inspect and manage supplies including sorting, counting, salvaging, storing items, and assembling service kits
  • Receive and verify supply deliveries to ensure orders match requisitions and report discrepancies
  • Complete cleaning tasks as outlined in the aircraft cleaning checklist ensuring all areas meet cleanliness and safety standards
  • Clean and stock service vehicles used in aircraft cleaning
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in cabin service preparation areas and ensure service kits are stocked
  • Dispose of trash and waste safely according to guidelines
  • Handle and apply cleaning products and tools properly and safely
  • Accurately complete paperwork and forms related to cleaning assignments
  • Report to work reliably and on time ready to perform assigned duties
