Job Requirements

  • hs diploma, ged or equivalent
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to successfully communicate with others
  • ability to work in high-noise environments
  • ability to lift, push, and pull bags weighing up to 70 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • ability to communicate effectively with others
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to perform duties in variable weather and environmental conditions
  • ability to operate vehicles safely in congested areas
  • ability to read and understand off-load sheets
  • ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
  • physical capability to lift and move cargo up to 70 lbs

Job Duties

  • loading and unloading cargo on and off aircraft
  • transporting cargo between terminals and aircraft
  • performing ramp transfers of cargo
  • receiving, delivering, and physically handling freight and company material
  • completing necessary forms and messages related to cargo handling
  • pushing out aircraft and guiding vehicles during push-back procedures
  • connecting and removing ground power and start units
  • cleaning aircraft exterior and work areas as assigned
  • monitoring facility security and reporting breaches
