Job Requirements

  • 230-pound weight limit dressed in flight suit and boots
  • Upload pilot license and FAA medical certificate
  • Ability to comply with Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Valid commercial rotorcraft helicopter certificate
  • Experience meeting the hour requirements specified
  • Availability for 7 on/7 off schedule in most locations
  • Compliance with company and operational policies

Job Qualifications

  • 2000 hours total flight time
  • 1500 hours helicopter time
  • 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
  • 500 hours turbine flight time
  • 100 hours night unaided flight or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
  • Previous Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) experience or equivalent preferred
  • Commercial rotorcraft helicopter certificate
  • Instrument rating for rotorcraft helicopter
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Operate helicopter safely and efficiently in compliance with FAA and company regulations
  • Conduct preflight inspections following rotorcraft flight manual guidelines
  • Monitor current and forecast weather conditions for flight planning
  • Communicate effectively with crew and dispatch to coordinate missions
  • Report to duty rested and prepared to ensure mission readiness
  • Document discrepancies and coordinate with maintenance for corrective actions
  • Adhere to all operational, state, and local aviation regulations
