Overview:

KIVA Confections creates infused confections and is one of the most recognized companies in California.
The company was born out of a need for an edible product that was potent, consistent, and enjoyable to consume. In early 2010 the edible market was desperately under served; the products available were untested, unlabeled, and inconsistent in potency.

To solve this problem, founders Scott Palmer and Kristi Knoblich began exploring novel approaches to infusing the plant into food. After visiting a local chocolatier, the lightbulb went off. Working with expert cultivators, certified analytics laboratories, and a lot of trial and error, KIVA was born.

To accompany the new product, the founders developed a mission statement that would go beyond simply delivering a better edible. It included a commitment to efficacy, food safety, and business integrity which continues today.

After 9 months of careful development, KIVA Confections was launched. Immediately consumers took notice and fell in love with the product for its certified potency, incredible taste and informative packaging.
Since then the company has grown to encompass over a dozen varieties of chocolate edibles, and now mints and gummies, with a loyal customer base throughout hundreds of dispensaries in CA, AZ, NV, IL, MI and HI. Our artisan confections have garnered multiple awards and recognition in the marketplace including eight Best Edible wins.

With over one hundred employees dedicated to quality, food safety and compassionate care, KIVA continues to redefine the edible category and lead the way in developing premium quality, great tasting products that deliver certified potency amounts within delicious, artisan-inspired confection recipes.
